Giddy on update!

OMG, I'm sitting here watching GAC (Great American Country) on TV and they are playing music videos of all of my husband's. Yes, I said husband's. When it comes to hot guys with southern accents singing country music aka. Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Chris Young etc., I'm sold.
So now that you know my weakness, I'm going to continue on about how my parents totally ditched me and went to go eat dinner and left me here with NO food to eat. It's ALMOST Stagecoach all over again. Okay, I lied. We have plenty of food in the cabinets for me to eat, I'm just being overly dramatic. After about, 20 minutes of going back and forth from the fridge to the cabinets, my cousin Sarah totally saved the day and told me to eat eggos. Yum. However, I go into the freezer only to find that we have no eggos. We only have Aunt Jemima type waffles. So as I'm sitting here typing this, I'm eating these waffles as if they are a completely foreign substance. They aren't eggos so therefore I don't like them. Okay, I'm done ranting about my non eggo waffles.
Today felt like a really pointless day. I had a whole list of things I wanted to accomplish for the day and I didn't accomplish any of them. Instead of coming home and cleaning my room (You could very well break your neck when you step foot into the death trap I call my room) and doing homework like a good little college student, I came home and took a nap. It was supposed to be a 10 minute power nap and it turned into a 3 hour power nap. I'm normally not a "nap" person, but my bed just looked so comfortable I couldn't resist! So with that being said, my room is still hazardous and my homework is still not done. I think this calls for another "oh gee oh gosh". I guess I feel that updating a blog is more important than college and clean rooms.
Anyways, this blog update is totally for my cousin ( http://www.mysocalledspookylife.blogspot.com/ ) because she said she was going to kill me if I didn't update it soon. So here it is, Sarah!! :)

Stagecoach 2010 Review

Last weekend was Stagecoach. Oh gee, oh gosh. We weren't homeless, as we had a camp site, but we were definitely food-less. We forgot so freaking many things at home, including necessities like food, so we had to eat the gross venue food (hamburger, OMG bad) and resort to our neighbors feeding us (vodka pasta the last night, OMG delicious).

I saw my husband (one of many) Jason Aldean, Sugarland, Keith Urban (my other husband), Joey and Rory (who I TOTALLY met!), Brooks and Dunn (their final performance ever until, well it's not and they reunite which will totally happen), Billy Currington (meh), Toby Keith (mehx2), Phil Vassar (mehx3), and Heidi Newfield (cat's who are injured sound better... no joke).

Sugarland was epic. They signed an acoustic guitar, then proceeded to walk out in the audience and give it away to a kid. It looked like a kid from where I was. They covered "Party in the USA" and "Single Ladies" in the same song. Their performance was in my top three.

Jason Aldean was equally as good. He's so super attractive and he covered "Cowboy" which was awesome.

This is my third year at Stagecoach, but not my favorite. Who will play next year? (SARA EVANS PLEASE OMG PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.) Will it be amazing? (I sure hope so, better than this I hope.) Will I go? You betcha! (Insert Canadian accent there.)

This weekend forced me to wear SPF 70 (when 4 is my usual go to), eat food from strangers (which I don't make a habit of), and leave a report to the absolute last minute, but it was totally worth it. (Sorta.)

Tonight, Tonight, mumble, mumble, Maria, Tony

So I've never actually seen West Side Story, but that song is both addictive and funny. That has absolutely nothing to do with my actual post, so excuse the divertion.
Tonight was crazy fun. It started with a gallery opening at my school, then the Orange Circle (which for you non-southern Californians is where they filmed That Thing You Do! and it looks like a step back in time to the mid century- it's awesome), then dinner at a fabulous hole in the wall Italian place, splitting dulce de leche cheesecake three ways, hanging with Jack the Pumpkin, and hitting Target and CVS before the close in search of the absolute perfect lipstick, which by the way we totally found.
Add in a dash of Joan Jett, Disney sing-a-long, and big green tractors, and the night was a fantabulous success.
Also I found out Sugarland may be playing Summer Under the Stars in LA this summer. If that's true, I'M TOTALLY GOING! I LOVE THEM!

Road Trip Update

Sadly, I have to report that my road trip to Nashville is not on the books for this year. Instead June will be filled with (hopefully) getting a tattoo, my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!, Eclipse (which will fingers crossed be good), possibly a Sara Evans concert, and who knows what else? Also, sometime in the soonish future I'll be making a road trip to San Francisco! It's going to be magical. Magical. (Insert Glee reference here, go Kurt, although I love Finn the best!)

Road Trip Planning Day 1

Today we planned my road trip to NASHVILLE! (It may not happen, but I'm trying to be optimistic.) The plan is to leave here, head to New Mexico to see a friend, then on to Texas where there's a statue my mother wants to see, then Oklahoma where I'm trying to track down Garth Brook's address (can anyone help please?). After that we're heading to Fort Smith, Arkansas where my grandparents are originally from. Hopefully we can see the church where they were married (over fifty years ago) and see where my great grandmother has her final resting place. After Arkansas we'll be heading to Tennessee! Wahoo! (Sounds like Vicki from Real Housewives of Orange County- that show is amazing and I'm totally on team Gretchen, Tamara was just WRONG.) Graceland is totally happening, it just has to. But finally after that we will be in Nashville, where I've been wanting to go practically forever.
The reason for this road trip down the I-40, you may ask? Going to see Sara Evans, Chris Young, Luke Bryan, and so many amazing others- too many to list. It's for the CMA Music Fest and I couldn't be more excited.
So far I have a couple thousand saved up, but I need more. I'm on it though- saving and planning and making this trip happen! (Even though my best friend, Caitlin, is being evil and doesn't think it's going to. She also ditched us today to hang out with a boy- whatever!)
Right now my mother is painting. She does that. She's making a wooden Mickey Mouse for my grandfather's 80th birthday. 80 freaking years, can you believe it? His birthday is Saint Patrick's Day- couldn't be luckier.
Also, LMN (Lifetime Movie Network) is on TV. There is this freaky movie on where an antique ring's former dead owner is haunting the new ring wearer. This channel and this movie are GOOD. I highly recommend. (Okay, honestly today is the first time I've watched LMN, but it comes highly recommended by my cousin http://www.mysocalledspookylife.blogspot.com.)
Jamba Juice and a walk with the dogs added to today's success. I have three dogs and two of them are amazing, and the puppy? Well he's kind of evil. But we love him anyway.
The Mickey Mouse my mother is painting it a little loaded. Or a lot loaded. Or well he's just not right. But by my grandpa's birthday, he'll be perfect! (Hopefully.) Oh gee, oh gosh, don't cha know!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

My Ring is Stuck on My Finger... It's Off Now

There were sheep near the parking lot outside my school in the morning, but when my cousin came to pick me up in the afternoon, the sheep were gone.
Today I watched Glee for the first time (on youtube) and am now hooked and going to start watching the show immediately.
In other news, Norms is amazing. My steak was on special. We got a pie from Marie Calendar's and it was de-licious.
My cousin is sitting here- she's fierce, and going to The Used show tomorrow, which is going to be ahhhhhhmazing.
Today was a good day. I have the next couple days off since I was supposed to go camping, but Disneyland and beach bike riding and maybe Sprinkles cupcakes will be happening instead, which is a good enough substitute.
Now it's time for bed. Good night all.
"Never alone"- Sara Evans will send me to sleep.

Howdy Partner (I'm so Kidding)

Blogging is completely new to me, but I decided tonight that it was time to try it out. I'm Breanna. This is my little corner of country lyrics and blonde moments. Will you stick around to hear me out?
And yes, my blog is named after Taylor Swift's "Love Story." Deal with it.
