Stagecoach 2010 Review

Last weekend was Stagecoach. Oh gee, oh gosh. We weren't homeless, as we had a camp site, but we were definitely food-less. We forgot so freaking many things at home, including necessities like food, so we had to eat the gross venue food (hamburger, OMG bad) and resort to our neighbors feeding us (vodka pasta the last night, OMG delicious).

I saw my husband (one of many) Jason Aldean, Sugarland, Keith Urban (my other husband), Joey and Rory (who I TOTALLY met!), Brooks and Dunn (their final performance ever until, well it's not and they reunite which will totally happen), Billy Currington (meh), Toby Keith (mehx2), Phil Vassar (mehx3), and Heidi Newfield (cat's who are injured sound better... no joke).

Sugarland was epic. They signed an acoustic guitar, then proceeded to walk out in the audience and give it away to a kid. It looked like a kid from where I was. They covered "Party in the USA" and "Single Ladies" in the same song. Their performance was in my top three.

Jason Aldean was equally as good. He's so super attractive and he covered "Cowboy" which was awesome.

This is my third year at Stagecoach, but not my favorite. Who will play next year? (SARA EVANS PLEASE OMG PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.) Will it be amazing? (I sure hope so, better than this I hope.) Will I go? You betcha! (Insert Canadian accent there.)

This weekend forced me to wear SPF 70 (when 4 is my usual go to), eat food from strangers (which I don't make a habit of), and leave a report to the absolute last minute, but it was totally worth it. (Sorta.)

Tonight, Tonight, mumble, mumble, Maria, Tony

So I've never actually seen West Side Story, but that song is both addictive and funny. That has absolutely nothing to do with my actual post, so excuse the divertion.
Tonight was crazy fun. It started with a gallery opening at my school, then the Orange Circle (which for you non-southern Californians is where they filmed That Thing You Do! and it looks like a step back in time to the mid century- it's awesome), then dinner at a fabulous hole in the wall Italian place, splitting dulce de leche cheesecake three ways, hanging with Jack the Pumpkin, and hitting Target and CVS before the close in search of the absolute perfect lipstick, which by the way we totally found.
Add in a dash of Joan Jett, Disney sing-a-long, and big green tractors, and the night was a fantabulous success.
Also I found out Sugarland may be playing Summer Under the Stars in LA this summer. If that's true, I'M TOTALLY GOING! I LOVE THEM!

Road Trip Update

Sadly, I have to report that my road trip to Nashville is not on the books for this year. Instead June will be filled with (hopefully) getting a tattoo, my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!, Eclipse (which will fingers crossed be good), possibly a Sara Evans concert, and who knows what else? Also, sometime in the soonish future I'll be making a road trip to San Francisco! It's going to be magical. Magical. (Insert Glee reference here, go Kurt, although I love Finn the best!)
